The CHED TPET team headed by Dr. Peter M. Ureta
carefully evaluated the readiness of the University in the areas of curriculum,
faculty, library, laboratory equipment, and facilities. The meeting was joined
by the Vice President for Academic Affairs - Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, CEGS Dean -
Engr. Meriam Makinano - Santillan, Office for Curriculum and Instruction
Development Director - Dr. Miraluna L. Herrera, Office of Planning and
Development (OPD) Director - Engr. Michelle V. Japitana, University Librarians,
and Department Heads and Representatives from CEGS and other colleges.
CHED TPET’s decision will be released once
additional documentary requisites will be submitted by CSU.
CHED TPET Conducts Online Evaluation of the CSU’s
Proposed BS Civil Engineering Program
The Commission on Higher Education - Technical
Panel for Engineering and Technology (CHED TPET) conducted a virtual evaluation
meeting with the College of Engineering and Geosciences faculty members and CSU
officials last December 11, 2020. The meeting is in relation to the CSU’s
proposed offering of the BS in Civil Engineering starting 1st semester of AY
2021-2022.
